Challenges

We faced several challenges during development, requiring innovative solutions and careful design to ensure an effective tool for users, the most prominent of which were:

Manual Traceability Difficulties: Difficulty in tracking products manually through various production stages, leading to vital data loss and an inability to identify defect sources in case of technical flaws within raw materials or manufacturing batches

Data Fragmentation Across Departments: Data fragmentation among procurement, laboratory, and warehouse departments causes decision-making delays, as linking analysis results with work orders requires substantial time and effort, negatively impacting overall workflow speed

Paper-Based Records Risks: Relying on paper records for quality inspection increases human error probability and hinders immediate access to historical reports needed to compare performance and ensure compliance with required standards accurately and reliably

Delayed Reports Delivery: Delayed delivery of lab results to managers prevents timely intervention to correct production paths, leading to resource wastage and producing quantities that do not comply with certified international quality standards

How it works

Our team worked on a series of steps to ensure the success of the application, including conducting initial tests with users to improve the user experience, continuously developing models based on feedback, launching a trial version to collect comments and suggestions, and finally analyzing data to measure the application's impact on performance and interaction.

Defining Standards and Procurement: The process begins by defining factory parameters and standards, followed by the procurement module to register raw materials and link them with initial analysis results, ensuring input safety before entering actual production

Work Orders Issuance and Control: Work orders are issued and material quantities allocated, while integrating the system with SCADA to read technical parameters automatically, ensuring precise execution and monitoring pressure, temperature, and moisture levels accurately

Daily Analysis and Alerts: The system performs periodic analyses, stores third-party lab results, and sends instant email alerts to users, keeping them updated on quality status in real-time to ensure continuous auditing and prevent deviations

Final Product Tracking and Sales: The cycle ends with issuing quality certificates and registering sales, while activating the batch tracking system that allows users to trace any product from sale back to its raw material source
